"Don't take refuge in the false security of consensus." - Christopher Hitchens

I know a BSV disciple, he's sadly already onto the next BSV apologist talking points like:

- Epstein funded bitcoin

- His invention is so powerful even the courts have been corrupted to stop it

- Etc

Every new episode of the BSV clown show they seem to shed some followers and maybe gain a few new ones. I wonder how many are left and how many are needed to keep the show on the road. Is it over once Calvin decides to stop funding Faketoshi or can he rely on funding from followers in that case?

From the reviews and buzz around it they seem like a good choice, still a bit of "beta" feel to it. Hope it's still around by the time my current thinkpad needs replacing

Sad that spyware like chrome dominates. Firefox + uBlock origin is a breath of fresh air, some sites only work properly in WebKit browsers though :/

Getting a framework laptop next? I have been using Thinkpad T series since the T60, but the quality and repairability seems to get worse with every new model that comes out.

It's an ever evolving dumpster fire, there's a court case coming up in January, this guy covers a lot of it really well: https://twitter.com/arthur_van_pelt

Global index fund with low fees, since I'm too stupid to figure out the stock market.

If I spent tons of hours on figuring it out I'm still not sure I'd outperform the index anyway.

In crypto, it's #bitcoin only for me.

It was mined very quickly after the block before it.

When pools receive a new block, they immediately send out an empty block template to miners so they can start mining on top of that block right away instead of idling while a block template full of transactions is being generated & sent.

It's better to win a block with 0 transaction fees than to have idle miners.

Does being public about your interest in Bitcoin ever worry you? People in Sweden getting robbed:

Got a phishing mail to a honeypot email and turns out the scammers exposed their telegram bot API token and chat ID πŸ˜†

Doesn't look like I can do much with it besides spam their group with poop emojis.

Anyone got a better idea? πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»

Have a look at a vertical mouse and a split/ergonomic keyboards like Dygma raise/defy or ZSA moonlander with a tenting option. Your wrists, lower arms and shoulders will thank you. They avoid the horizontal (flat) position of your hands which often is what causes wrist pain.

I regularly get € payments from other countries in my business, sometimes some bank in the middle just steals 10€, sender and receiver bank both claim they are not responsible and cannot provide a receipt. That's banking for you πŸ˜†

Think because it's not convenient when you want to do business with China. Lots of people care, just not the ones that matter.

When someone points it out the propaganda ministry makes sure an example is made:

Every time a friend gets into crypto this inevitably happens. The smart ones get over their #shitcoin phase and return to #bitcoin - the rest just get rekt and blame everyone but themselves.
