Whisper is the way to go.
Check https://goodsnooze.gumroad.com/l/macwhisper (the free version is good).
There are many iOS Whisper tools in the App Store so on-device transcripts should work good enough.
Cmd+W closes the app and not the tab.

Could the WoT apply to repliers of your WoT? Blocking the reply guy/gals does not seem to work.
I got a message not sent today but there was nothing how to resolve it (e.g. retry button, just the yellow symbol).
I did the reply (to Will) with Damus and after coming back it had send it.

Nostur allows to follow silently. Using only lists (zero following) kills the WoT since thereās nothing to follow publicly unless the private lists are shared.

Indeed. Thatās why I was suggesting using RSS-feed directly. The fastest and the easiest adaptation.

Exactly. There are backup services but your daily nostr client is the simplest solution.
