Can we create a Nostr filter where the client sends a bloomfilter instead of a massive list of pubkeys of the 1000 people an account is following?

At .01% error rate, the filter size drops from ~67kb to 2.3Kb. It looks like a good data-saving feature.

#Primal on android consumes A LOT of data, much more than #amethyst (that still consumes a lot).

I think that's because Primal "preload" much content from the feeds, so then can offer a smoother experience when scrolling.

I think that it needs to be:

- capped a bit

- better cached, it always receive GBs of data everytime you open the app...

Also for amethyst and all the other nostr client tested needs to be find a solution to have an effective "low data mode".

- For myself: single, no immediate plan for marriage, i have stable passive income (enough for myself but not wealthy)

- working in a company for 4 years, familiar environments, consulting focus, wasting too much time at "explaining AI to people who totally dont know about it"

- Other factors, I am currently living at almost the most crowded and busy city in the world but im not a big fan of city life. I like quiet environment and nature.

- For my future: i wanna have kid someday, will the money be enough? But I also wanna stay in an environment working on things i enjoy instead of purely solving others problem.

- Once i quite i kind wont go back. In my opinion working is still a good way to maintain a basic level of social for mental health. Can I successfully curate people around me after I quit?

Seems like development on it is going slow. There hasn't been an update from v0.3.0 in almost a month. I don't know how to actually speak to the maintainer, I have run into him somewhere but I don't remember where, and I can't find him on the usual Monero spaces. I would think he would have a presence on nostr but I haven't been fortunate enough to find him.

I'm curious if he released this as a proof of concept, or if he wants bounties to work on it, or if he just feels overwhelmed with the workload and doesn't feel like it/doesn't have time to keep up.

Making clients is a lot more fun than making relay infrastructure. But someone's gotta do it.

#Garnet needs to work on breaking away from #Amethyst enough that Android can tell them apart. It screws up updates, basically only one can be updated.
