Down the Rabbit Hole we go!🕳🐇 #AlwaysLearning Don’t trust, verify! #Bitcoin The future is decentralized! #Nostr

Ordinals = NFTs

this is not the way🙃

provably scarce digital assets are a solid idea

NFTs are not🥱

Notes are cool but Other Stuff is where the magic happens🍿 #Nostr nostr:note19k347zlzcre5n4gfrhktg4yz477lnna74r3sez7mjusue59cdu2qv2cnu3

I find this to be a fun thought experiment because what most people tend to realize when they *really* start to break things down is that they are *a lot* less capable/knowledgeable then they thought they were.

this (hopefully) leads to a hunger for understanding; everyone should know the basics for survival but those who strive to understand more would be the ones that *truly* thrive (could you evolve from the Stone Age -> Bronze Age -> Iron Age etc)

if the world were to reset tomorrow, would you be able to survive?

would you thrive?

or would you realize how reliant you were on the internet?

imagine completely ignoring testimonies of people with first hand experience in order to continue pushing your confused ideologies based on a distorted view of empathy

what is the value of a like when it isn’t backed by an algorithm?🤔

I answered your question; if you don’t like the answer to your underlying question - and you fail to see the moral implications posed - then that’s on you, and not for me to spell out for you

but if you must have me answer it literally - you are equating chopping one’s arm off to sex reassignment surgery; it’s a false equivalence. you are betting on the horror-factor of losing one’s arm in an attempt to prove a point. no hormonal or genetic makeup is dictating anyone alive today to remove a limb.

which is asides from the *real* point -

imagine waking up everyday, looking in the mirror, dressing yourself, going outside, interacting with your family, friends, strangers, everyday, for years, and not feeling yourself. through no fault of your own, you identify more with the opposite sex, but society has deemed it - and by extension, YOU - unacceptable.

YOU are told, in no uncertain terms, that you are an abomination, and that you are a pox on the world.

- now attempt to go through your life unphased by this waking-nightmare, and come out the other side with zero ramifications on your mental health and psyche.

who am I to deny these people’s unshakeable conviction, and to tell them that they are merely “deluded”

you don’t need to understand, you merely have to accept

I’m not altering fact or science, although I must say I’m deeply curious to know how you must assuredly be an astute scientist to refute the findings of psychology.org

I’m not oppressing anyone, or propagating any dogma, by stating “be and let be”

just because your rights allow you to disagree with any one person’s lifestyle doesn’t entitle you to pass judgment on it as trivial, or in some way faulty; self-sovereignty is permitted to all, and that’s all transgender people desire - the freedom to be who they feel they are you

the mental gymnastics here are impressive lmao

most would say mutilating your sexual organs in an attempt to appease your psychological issue is more horrific then losing an arm, especially when it’s pushed on children.

maybe you shouldn’t rely on one source that’s been changed to fit a political agenda…

you seem to be attempting to avoid the question by focusing on semantics and making this an ethical debate, so let me rephrase:

would you support someone’s decision to chop off their arm if they told you adamantly that it felt wrong to have it and their life would be better without it?

I am aware of the history, and I have no issue with you calling yourself a women if that makes you happy but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with or support your delusion; my issue lies with the attempt to alter fact and science to fit one’s agenda and as a sovereign individual I have the right to refuse to accept *your* dogma.
