Generally speaking, new cars shouldn't need repairs, and if they do, it would be covered under a manufacturer warranty. They vary, but it could be 5 years, some are longer, some are less, most also include a milage amount too.

If you plan on keeping the car and running it into the ground or until it's first major maintenance issue, then buying could be better in the long run. If you need a new car every 2-3 years and don't put on a lot of milage, then leasing is best. It all depends on your situation and needs.

I think the message he spreads now is important regardless of mistakes he may or may not have made in the past. Even if the allegations are true, I don't think that means he needs to be retroactively silenced for it.

I think it's a HUGE problem that there's no due process for this, though. If he really is guilty of what they're saying he did, then they need to convict him. The reason I think it's important to support him at this point is that no one should be canceled because of unsubstantiated rumors.

That said, IDGAF if he's on Nostr or not. This place is probably full of people who made horrible decisions while under the influence at some point.
