Let us fall down and worship Christ, our King and our God ☦️

I followed this guide up through the media server section: https://k3tan.com/my-home-lab

h/t: #[3]

Streaming services been pissing me off as of late.

Going back to the good ol’ days of downloading any movie or tv show I want 🤙

Setup a Jellyfin server to surface the content, works great!

How to get a non-custodial LN address for Nostr

0. Buy a domain on Namecheap with BTC

1. Follow this guide on setting up a Btcpayserver configured with LN: https://sovrnbitcoiner.com/hosting-btcpay-server-w-lunanode/ (can pay with BTC)

2. Allow node to sync if setting up new node

3. Enable Lightning Address under Apps

4. Pair #[0] with Btcpayserver LN node

5. Establish channels and get some inbound liquidity

Not really a guide but: #[5]

Must be alright, I’ve had lots people zap in the last week. Plenty of inbound still too.

It’s my own node. LND running on Btcpayserver.

I have no regrets going back to using an iPhone for my daily driver.

Graphene pixel for more sensitive btc/XMR stuff, but the proper backup solution (now E2EE), plus everything “just working” on iOS while giving you better privacy and security (often overlooked) than cucked Android was enough for me to make the switch back.

Failed on Phoenix, worked with Zeus

Not sure how well the LN address/LNURL will work when hiding behind Tor on your home network. I have my Btcpayserver on a VPS with my own domain.

#[5] any insights for those going down this path?

Are there any LN routing nodes that are being heavily utilized by self-sovereign Nostr plebs? If not, maybe we could coordinate that. Makes sense given all the zapping going on.

Never watched any vids on it myself, just going off of the documentation.

When I used Calyx I would do that because microG is not as sandboxed or hardened as sandboxed GPS on Graphene. So I’d set up all my apps that needed it in the work profile.

That is not the case. No matter where you install them, its sandboxed. See here: https://grapheneos.org/usage#sandboxed-google-play

Basically it’s Google Play Services but without any special access or privileges like it normally gets.
