I thrive in incomprehensibility.

Wow, despite government and media insisting I "never forget", I completely forgot.

I don't really know who anybody is out here, and I don't follow football, so all I knew about you I know from your posts here, but this was very encouraging and pleasantly insightful. Some similar experiences over several years myself, and I appreciate you sharing your story.

All that to say, Nice to meet you Gigi.

So yesterday we were out closing the pool for the year, and two f16 and a coast guard Dolphin helicopter flew past over the course of a few minutes. My wife looked at me and said "What if it's Red Dawn?"

I replied; "Well, I'd need to change my shoes, but otherwise I think we're pretty much set". ๐Ÿ˜œ

DeadFest 2024 at the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance... A good time was had by all.

Got my license several years back when I realized one can get a 'close relatives' former call sign, so I took the test on a whim and got my grandfathers call sign and a vanity tag to match. Have his old license plate from 1957 with the same callsign.

All that said, I haven't turned on the radio for more than a year...

Utter stupidity.

So lets follow his 'logic':

He says that 'young people' shouldn't be taught think for themselves.

Then he reveals that hose 'young people' are college students.

So... adults?

Or at least people who WOULD be adults, if they were able to think for themselves.

So adults shouldn't be able to think for themselves.

So people should just obey him and other 'experts'.

"There is no longer respite for reflecting or choosing or adapting oneself, or for acting or wishing or pulling oneself together. The rule of life is: No sooner said than done. Life has become a racecourse... a succession of objective events which drag us along and lead us astray without anything affording us the possibility of standing apart, taking stock and ceasing to act." - The Technological Society by Jacques Ellul

If you're about to start college, and you're doing it because 'that's what comes next', STOP. LEAVE. Get your money back. Go home and think and decide what you want to do and WHY.

Is she a drunk? I honestly don't know if I've ever seen her talk before, but she talks like a drunk.
