Zaps quickly turned into performance art for Jack. Nobody sees the irony. They have made things much less playful.
“Whoever must play cannot play”
Such an interesting book. If you liked it, The Religious Case Against Belief is also very good. It has a similar koan vibe.
This message was not created by Ross Bates. OMG I broke the liars paradox! 😂
The fact that tamper proof signatures on messages is so simple is also a big deal. People have been trying to get that type of feature integrated into email for decades. With nostr it’s so easy most people probably don’t realize they’re doing it.
NIP-12 says to treat them as hashtags. I believe at one point Damus was also using them as topics for NIP-28 chat but now it functions more like search.
As you’ll see in the comments, the g tag just kinda showed up one day unannounced. I think it’s great, but see no reason why it should be limited to a geohash. Starting to lean towards the idea of putting WKB in there and using content and #t for everything else.
Hey Nathan! Would love to work with you to help refine and improve this concept. Early on it seemed like GeoJSON objects would be a natural fit. Now I’m not so sure that string encoding one spec inside of another is a good idea. You can effectively represent the same data and relationships using the existing nostr tags [e,p,t,g]
Man, saw these at Whole Foods last week. I was so intrigued that for some reason I was unsure if I should buy it, let alone cook and eat it. All I could do was take a picture 😄

Auditors bring their own selection biases. The cycle will never end. Focus on the outcomes, evaluate if the model accomplishes the task it was assigned. There will never be such thing as “The AGI” model.
On one end is a decentralized last.fm, on the other is a better way to filter and render events in the proper context.
The time has arrived. Now Playing should be a new event kind. 🎶
"Up and Down the Ladder of Abstraction" http://worrydream.com/LadderOfAbstraction/
an important item in the #pleblibrary
That introduction is too good.
“How can we design systems when we don't know what we're doing?”
Ok, take me wherever it is we’re going.
You finally convinced me to install TestFlight on an M1. I’ve run apps through the simulator but this is bonkers. Mind still blown even though this should be the most obvious thing ever. 😂
⚡️zapped you some sats

Oh wow, I’ve read your work and really enjoy it. Didn’t connect the dots in nostr until you posted this.
No way man, you did awesome and it was really cool to watch. Legit interesting to hear you talk through things in the app that we’re all using every day. Keep up the great work!
Was going to ask what happened to your old key and then I saw that killer npub. Nice! How long did it take you? Did you use rana?
…. Zap me, mama, any way you feel 🎶💜
That would be awesome. Something which I would love to see is “how I did this”. Where instead of building new things, you’re walking through features retroactively showing your workflow and thought processes. 30 minute sessions on zaps, relays, performance, profiles, etc… Deleted scenes, directors commentary
