Reminds me of early Flickr and early Twitter. Flickr used to go down around 5 pm Pacific every day. Remember the Twitter fail whale? This is what made them interesting for a certain type of user. Then Flickr sold to Yahoo!, Twitter got VC. Both became slick and polished, which attracted the normies and marketers and politicians. Which ruined them.
You wish the same for nostr? I don't.

Wait, this is real? When I first saw the images and videos, I assumed this was a joke, a CGI/AI-generated meme
Knowing what you want is the most difficult part
How can one tell that one lacks self awareness if one lacks self awareness

I'm surprised you are even addressing this.
The world is filled with inefficient systems that could be made to be way more robust, effective, and efficient with slight improvements to their incentive structures.

The nostr n00b dilemma:
Why would I post anything when no one follows me?
... but ...
Why would anyone follow me if I don't post anything?

I agree about the open source UI, to an extent. However, there are some open source projects (I won't name them), which, in an effort to counter the UI deficiency phenomenon, swing too far the other way and slap a stunning over-engineered, "beautiful" UI on a product that is half baked. This is much worse, IMHO
It has become my rule of thumb: back up the stuff you care about offline, out of reach of anyone else.
Just sent you the logs. You're not going to believe this, but the wallet starts much faster now and I don't see the "slow start" message anymore. If you did something to fix it, thank you!
High zombie channel count still an issue though.
