Being on #nostr early means filling your feed with people who know #bitcoin and are able to think for themselves and recognise a good idea. That network will serve you well in the sea of misinformation and FUD that comes from every other news feed.

Global feed is quite a mess, no doubt in that. Anybody can create an “account” and it takes time for relay operators to receive feedback on spammy accounts and block them. But as you build up your following base and surround yourself with quality accounts the experience becomes much better than in case of traditional social media as there are no algos that decide what you should or shouldn’t see.

Cheating on #[0] a bit and checking out #[1] tonight.

Clean, simple interface, a very different way to experience Nostr. If you ever used Tweetoshi, it’s by the same team. They’ve fully committed to building apps for Nostr.

It’s a promising start.
