More of the same.

In my course, I say that privacy and security are two different practices. Just as one hand washes the other, both wash the face.
#privacy doesn’t exist.

Privacy is not dead, it just requires a different kind of effort today. If people choose not to educate themselves, they will continue to be surveilled. There is also a difference between being private, anonymous, pseudonymous and invisible. In my course, the first thing I suggest is establishing a Realistic Threat Level. Key word realistic because you still have to live your life.

Atlas Shrugged was an incredible audiobook as well, especially with the diversity of characters. Francisco's impromptu speech at the party was worth multiple listens.
Do think we can create a modern Galt's Gulch using bitcoin?

The typical tech nerd is a pale, fat, guy. That is historically true, and mostly portrayed in the media. Today, unfortunately, most males, at least in America, are like this. It is quite a surprise, a pleasant one, for women, to see a well put together man, who also has high intellectual capacity to speak of technology, finance, art, and other worldly topics.

As Toshi mentioned, specifically in bitcoin, I think the reason for less out of shape men is bitcoin makes you very good at an assortment of skills, like business, persuasion, longevity, entrepreneurial spirit, as opposed to the strict disciplinarian of say, a programmer, a web developer, help desk, soc analyst...

Do you feel that in the near future most people will hold multiple crypto, and fiat currency, even though bitcoin is the only true decentralized one? It might be necessary to transact day to day, as you know being a small business owner.
I published a new public macro article about the complexities of the current attempt to re-shore some manufacturing to the United States:
https://www.lynalden.com/reshoring/
Specifically, it dives into the energy capital and the human capital that needs to be re-accumulated in order for such a trend-change to be successful.
To visualize this situation, basically the U.S. industrial base increased for most of the 20th century but has spent the last two decades stagnating, which is increasingly becoming a talking point among politicians and corporations:

Thanks for all your content, long time listener. Do you feel that bringing industries back into the US, while it moves to a more collective (hopefully not) government, will eliminate some of the free market economics that are available on the world stage? It seems great for "creating jobs" and patriotism, but the downside might be an increase in government overreach, if and when those industries come back to American land.
