permissionless product development. live and let live✌️

Yet, nobody ever wanted to talk about it.

👀 Good news! I know reading text subtitles is getting more challenging for me.

“Starting today, Netflix is giving TV users the option to customize the size and style of subtitles and closed captions.”

Not exactly. More like Telegram, et al.

Happy International Women’s Day! I’m very proud that more than 1/2 of the

talented team at Concentrical are women including the head of engineering, product management, and design.

Thank you for leading and building every day! 🥂

From what I understand it’s creators can setup paid content communities. DID and uses lightning network. https://www.zion.fyi/creators

Zion pivoted to OnlyFans faster than I thought. Makes sense though.

I hope the CEO of Nostr is paying attention to these developments.

Meta rebuilding messenger back into their Facebook app? Interesting. I don’t use FB but I still have messenger because my family uses it. Is this like AIM being more popular that AOL at the end?

Imagine finally having a viable alternative to centralized social media networks that allows users a real choice in clients, interoperability amongst lots of interesting apps, and freedom to choose from many business models for content … then immediately demanding client homogenization, a single model for how relays operate, consensus on development of features, and uniform business models. Some people just want freedom so that they can hold the keys.

My thoughts as I read notes from profiles demanding what Nostr devs and relay operators must or must not build or do.

I didn’t realize Tenor was owned by Google. 😐 On the one hand it isn’t great to integrate their service into a client, but on the other hand without gif support the average user would head over to Google to search for gifs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tenor api integration is free.

Just overheard my twin-boys telling the neighbor friends about #Nostrica as they play Hello Kitty Monopoly. “We’re going to conference in Bitcoin jungle. Also, Jack Dorsey zapped a thing my dad posted. He’s the guy who made Twitter and Square.” 😂

I don’t thing they really know what Twitter is, but they are super impressed by Square. “The terminals they use at all the food carts!”
