Passionate Lightning Node operator and developer

Nostr is currently basically a #Bitcoin echo chamber
 and I love it.

The mobile apps have dark mode support though.

And that’s probably a good thing!

Not a day goes by without me appreciating how awesome Linux is.

Still, what they’ve done with devcontainers alone makes it a really fantastic editor.

The only good thing to come out of Microsoft in the last 20 years is VSCode.

Google investing in Voltage says a lot!

Say what you want about Pomp, but he’s been consistently articulating Bitcoin’s value in a way everyone can understand and get onboard with. https://youtu.be/9dayF8sT0Yo

I developed a mobile app for a work related event and snuck in support for LNURLs. People ended up discovering the Easter egg, downloaded a Lightning wallet app and sent sats back and forth to each other. Good fun!

Anal OS is Solana backwards. Go figure.

Can we collectively agree to replace Docker with Podman please? I prefer my containers without root access and a required daemon.

#Bitcoin is software and can’t be controlled. Open networks beat closed networks. The Lightning network will provide a superior payment user experience.

Pawn to E4.

Integrate or die.

I am seriously 5x more productive on #Linux than on Windows or MacOS. Why? The ability to run a tiling WM such as Sway, a comprehensive package management system and overall customization.

I’d personally prefer if they stuck to doing the whole Lightning node thing very well instead of being a docker-compose based self-hosting solution. Containers do not really provide and significant security and you’re effectively mixing your Lightning node onchain keys with all the other web services you choose to run on the thing.
