You're missing that ETH is a shitcoin. It's not decentralised, which defeats the entire purpose of a using a blockchain. Why it's not decentralised?

-There is a founder (can be pressured, corrupted or blackmailed)

-There is a foundation (can be pressured, corrupted or blackmailed)

-There was a pre-mine

-It overruled consensus rules with a hardfork to serve the elites (ETH / ETC split)

-It moved to Proof of Stake, which is basically fiat (elites print money without delivering work) and leads to centralisation over time by making the rich richer.

#Ethereum made the critical mistake by implementing complicated features on the base layer. This means that it fundamentally can't scale and thus will trade off decentralisation every time that it need to scale.

Don't waste your time voting for politicians. Work to improve your own life and the people around you and vote with your money (Bitcoin), with your feet and with your attention (Nostr).

Hoping to change the country by voting is as dumb as hoping to get rich in a lottery. On top of that: Voting is highly immoral.

This is indeed a good argument for the other side. However, I still prefer to have this metric visible. I do care about follower count, since I plan to go write long form content soon, and it's nice to know that you write for a big (er) audience. There is a good chance that the interaction will be very low in the beginning. In that case a growing follower count will be a motivator.

Happily this decision will be made per client, so we will probably both get what we want!

I think that's a very bad idea. People who start out and don't have much interactions in the form of likes and zaps, will be motivated to stay when their follower count grows (even if slowly). It's the only metric for starters to see progress on their account.

Every cycle feels the same: That some massive perfect storm is coming for #Bitcoin. The only difference is that it is magnitudes bigger every times and that more milestones to #hyperbitcoinization are being reached. Making short term price predictions is foolish, but being mid / long term #bullish is so obvious. Get ready!

#Politics is a zero sum game, thus parasitic in itself. It is literally crimes like theft, murder and oppression laundered by political rituals. This is why politics is the only thing that can divide families (It is literally pushing for coercion on each other without taking accountability). Things that are deemed immoral by everyone are somehow ok when done by politicians and bureaucrats or some orderfollower in uniform. Don't do politics guys: It is immoral, counter productive and a massive waste of your energy.

Instead do #Bitcoin, #Nostr and just human things like being productive and interacting peacefully with each other!
