I don't want a robot that dances. I want a robot that pulls bad weeds from my lawn, cleans my house and my car, folds my laundry and puts out the garbage.

Back then, 'authority' was given to sites with long articles and many (interlinked) pages. This is when the first content generators/mixers were used. add in some links, bought from pages with an already established pagerank ( Google would let you see that data). the point was not to rank all your sites, you just needed to point your generated sh*t with little pagerank all to your money site and voilà... profit!

I took your advice and built a gif nostr companion app:

https://gifbuddy.lol/

You can download the PWA to your home screen, search for your gif, copy the address and paste it into your client

On the back end, for every gif that gets copied/clicked, an API request is made to upload to nostr:npub1nxy4qpqnld6kmpphjykvx2lqwvxmuxluddwjamm4nc29ds3elyzsm5avr7 by nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w

From there a nip94 request is done so that the content can be accessed by any client in the future

Now, anyone who searches for gifs using this tool is also helping to build the gif repository for nip94 and adding fallback urls to nostr.build

And all they did was click to copy #gifs

Turn that around. How much readers wouldn't dare interact with an account with a large following? Maybe afraid to say something 'wrong'. Or think their interactions are not worth it or will be snowed under in the replies? Would they participate more if these stats were hidden? Maybe...

I don't see growing a follower count as 'progress'. I personally never look at it and don't care.
