To clarify: most of the time I will one-tap-zap but then the sats never leave my wallet and the zap is not successful.

No, but companies often stuff all kinds of other junk into their peanut butter like oils and artificial sweeteners.
It's best to get a peanut butter that is only 2 ingredients: peanuts and salt. You'll have to stir it once when you first open it, but it's so worth it.
