At the moment, it seems like it's not being done yet, bots emulating people. I suppose the benefits would be that if you get added, you appear on the feed as well as on global. So far, they just have bots register for an npub and absolutely carpetbomb the global until they are blocked by all the major clients. And then repeat. Many clients now do an abridged global feed which is a network consisting of "your friends, and friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends." Because of this, bots will soon definitely have to adapt to be added. But I haven't seen anything sophisticated at all yet.
I hear "Bitcoin is the Storm" in the tune of "Riders on the Storm."
This charts a bit old, but anyway... So I assume the bots don't bother adding bios or contacts really (yellow). The red or blue is probably the real users. Since basically everyone I know is a bitcoiner, I assume that so many less accounts have LNURLS enabled (orange) because Chinese and HKers are using it for free speech, but haven't been orange-pilled, yet... But...yesterday on my global feed I saw some Chinese "Bitcoin Maxis"(their words) talk about "Cantillionaires"(also their words) (Amethyst has a translate feature now) so the Asian users (which are the bulk of nostr, even after removing the bots) may get slowly orange pulled via Nostr.

Awesome little Interview! I completely understand wanting your product to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Any custodial wallet, even if it's run from a boat on international waters will eventually get regulatory pressure too.
I saw a few Stacker News posts in the following days after Bluewallet stopped custodial LN service asking questions like "do I have to pay a 3,000 sat channel opening fee on Phoenix EVERY time I make a payment?
I would love there to be a poll in like 6 months of people who used their custodial Lightning wallet where they ended up going, whether they went to noncustodial options or Wallet of Satoshi. Still, every person that did pursue noncustodial options is one more that wouldn't have if Bluewallet remained as they were.
Oh yeah. One of the worst. Proof of Stake, like all good ponzis, (Ethereum) but Hex just changed the name of the process from staking to mining to try to trick the SEC.
Yo... I tried it last night... it's not for me yet. I'm kinda regretting I had nsecs with it.
I made a post assuming the bulk of non-spam accounts without LNURLs were Chinese, but look at this in my global! Chinese Bitcoin Maxis on Nostr?! (Also notice use of 'Cantillionaire,' classic bitcoiner-talk)

On Amethyst, comments show in ABSOLUTELY no particular order I can pick up on, lol.
Disregard the yellow line, it's spam. Blue or red is more likely real users. Look how much less have LNURLS (orange) enabled though. Considering everyone I know on here is a Bitcoiner, the only thing I can think of I'd there is a big Non-Bitcoiner userbase in Asia.

Wow, thx! I paid a few weeks back... but the invoice expired and I don't think I ever got it to recognize me. I think it was just too busy while I was trying to pay. I have receipt still. In my wallet.
A commodity that the company that produces it guarantees 38% profits on. On the commodity's official website.
Anyone know who runs the relay
Nostr. plebchain. org ?
Richard Heart has removed a bunch of Hex stuff from his profile, and changed "Hex Staking" to "Hex Mining." Think Gary will fall for it?

This chart is a few days old, but... the yellow line is probably spam, real users are closer to red or blue. The orange (LNURL-enabled) is ALOT lower. Considering everyone I know on here is a bitcoiner with it enabled, I assume that the Asian users (the portion that ISN'T spam) isn't YET orange pilled. We gotta get them into Bitcoin! We have to find a way to make a tutorial to show enabling Lightning and doing zaps in Mandarin (and maybe Cantonese too, I think that's what they speak in HK)

Oh wait, I did this before, let someone else go!
