Yeah, unfortunately people do. Because crypto influencers told them to because they were paid with a lot of the token (and probably another crypto that already is more established). Telegram groups are so sad, they just think if they show up and are positive and believe, they will get rich. So strange. Then the devs stop showing up... and the people still are optimistic.

I definitely want to encourage businesses accepting Lightning, but if they autoconvert, they aren't getting my Bitcoin... butttt... Strike is perfect for this. It still encourages the business accepting Lightning, supports Lightning services, and the Lightning Network and doesn't create a taxable event.
