Just thinking out loud here. The two income household is a trap. If there was a movement of families across the country where one parent stays home and the household severely cuts back to cover expenses, the whole economy would have to adjust to accommodate for this. Your spending speaks louder than any vote you can ever cast.

I'm really over the post election animosity that I'm seeing towards fellow citizens who don't agree with them. It really makes me sad, having family on both ends of the spectrum, seeing disdain and borderline hatred towards other human beings. In the end Jesus is king.

If it is true that Jesus is truly God, came to earth to live like one of us as a human, was unfairly sentenced to torture and death in the most gruesome possible way because of his claim to be God and spiritually as a stand in for all of humanity, and then came back to life 3 days later and over 500 people witnessed him alive again, then based on that alone would force me to have to reevaluate my own entire perspective of reality and what that singular moment in history means in relation to literally everything else.
If the God that created literally everything, became human, allowed himself to suffer as a human, and to be killed as a human as a spiritual stand-in for the moral judgement enacted by himself and then to come back to life from the dead, then that would be the most consequential moment in history.
This seems like almost the ideal for someone who would want to live on a #Bitcoin Standard. Sad it’s Euro only atm. Being able to spend from your wallet without first having to convert to fiat and all the converting happening in the background seems like the perfect situation! The fees aren’t ideal but otherwise, am I missing something? Just the fan store in the stadium. Nothing special. I didn't transact in Bitcoin. Spent USD and then sold the BTC equivalent.
I spent my first bit of Bitcoin today. I was stacking a little bit specifically so I could start spending and getting into the mindset of really living on a Bitcoin standard. I bought a jersey for my home MLS team after they beat LA in the Leagues Cup. Got to be at the game with my wife and in-laws. On one hand I was debating about wanting to spend the Bitcoin for the future gains, on the other it was a great memory. Feels good. Keep stacking.

I feel like I get value from #Instagram. I enjoy seeing what my friends and family are up to and see what they think is valuable. I enjoy posting a few times a year as like a "virtual holiday card". I enjoy how it's not ramblings that you get on #FB and #X. BUT, the fact that #Meta decided to add in #Reels to compete with #TicTok has ruined the app. It has become such a temptation to suck my attention for hours that the things I actually do enjoy the app for are such a small percentage of usage. I've deleted all other corporate social media accounts except Insta and I am very tempted to do the same for Insta but those reasons listed above keep me there and it sucks. The fact that companies will manipulate the mind in that way while hiding behind the genuinely valuable aspects of the platform really makes me think that the executives running them are evil.
Maybe our legislature can stop twiddling their thumbs and actually provide some regulatory clarity around stablecoins that would actually differentiate the assets.
