too bad there's no easy way to see total lightning payment trends (unless someone like WoS / Bluewallet published the data); because I'm actually willing to bet that you'd see a massive increase in lightning payments linear to Damus/Nostr coming to popularity

this should be aggressive thresholds though, if done; because, it shouldn't rate limit me from just commenting on everyone's post like i normally do
real spammers just create a new key pair for every message since that action is inexpensive
