tengo que aprender a ser mas cabron

I heard yanks yaroufakis say a couple times how the left keeps missing valuable opportunities

You right and to be clear I’m not saying we should keep people out. It’s just that in my experience trying to get my people onboarded it’s the initial cold water plunge into the bitcoin community that is preventing a lot of people from sticking with it.

I’m just saying we should be sensitive to this and other kinds of feedback in order to create a space for normies to try building out their communities and stick around instead of indoctrinating them into the whole freedom! freedom freedom right off the bat…

When I say “crypto” reputation you should know what I mean. Cryptography is not necessarily blockchain either. And nostr is not blockchain, it’s websockets. If new users are complaining about their feeds full of Bitcoin content, we should probably do something about that to disassociate it from the protocol (that’s if we want nostr to grow). We already have clients that don’t implement the wallet feature. Clients come preloaded with public relays where a bunch of bitcoiners are talking bitcoin.

The least of YOUR issues but if you spend any time talking to people about nostr and onboarding them you would understand what I am saying 🙄

People take normal looking stool for granted. Make sure you’re eating your fiber people!!

Free minds think alike 😎 did you get a chance to glance at https://www.are.na/? I’m already thinking of the new event kinds that would come from building this style of nostr client. No vanity metrics, no addictive scrolling feed, just pure signal.

Someone shared with me a video outlining the concept of a “digital garden” recently and I’ve been deep in this rabbit hole of how informational sharing over the internet has evolved over the years since. I think moving away from feed-centered social media could be a way for nostr to stand out.

Could something like https://www.are.na/ be built on top of nostr? #asknostr

I feel like dog owners should be required to undergo dog training classes when they first get their dog. Why can’t breeders and shelters contract out trainers to provide something like that each time they sell a dog?

What you reading right now?? I just finished Another Now by Yanis Varoufakis.
