Politics divides. Trade brings people together. Destroy political power & set trade free.

"most"

But I really can't think of any reason I have ever heard that isn't a sign of high time preference... 🤔

I suspect that most people who don't want kids haven't truly thought about how lonely & empty their life is likely to be in their old age as a result of that choice.

#Bitcoin is being consciously & purposely attacked in ways that are easy to disguise as "crypto-bro hype about these new features"

Democracy is both stupid & evil, & most people will almost deserve the hell they help to create.

Bitcoin is a court system for determining & transferring property rights, we have people using the courts to throw parties crowding out actual property transfers. It doesn't matter if they are paying more, or how much they want to do it, that's not what the court system was designed for & it is completely reasonable to want to enforce proper boundaries around the system.

There was no shortage of these same sort of people even when the US was on a gold standard. This is not some sort of historical anomoly. It's just that we unfortunately had a political system where those sorts of people were able to worm their way into unearned positions of power & authority & that's why we are in the mess we are in. People never really change all that much. There are always going to be people who are focused on status over everything else. A focus on social status devoid from any desire to understand & create will always result in greed & envy & evil actions.

I don't think killing them solves the problem. I think the better punishment is for them to have to see all the political power they built up crumble due to technological changes they cannot control. Many of them may deserve to be caged, certainly all of the pedos, who should also be castrated.

Why is it "freedom" for people to bloat Bitcoin with literal scams by promoting the idea that image infomation can be traded or owned when it can't, but it's not freedom for some people to try & exclude the image information to prevent people from being scammed in the first place?

No it isn't. A person who wants to "eat the rich" is categorically no different from the sort of person who wants to steal from any other class or kind of people. The only difference is power. Give any random normie the power of any of the current string pullers & they would likely be as much or even more evil. This was clear as day during the plandemic.

They are right to say there is a problem, but because they are the same sort of empty status chasing stupid that created the problem they come to the wrong conclusions.

Only a tiny one. There would be many billionaires with or without central banking, we would just have better billionaires without them.

The Liquid supply is provably linked to the proof of work chain, and Liquid privacy makes it basically impossible for them to target or censor any individual. The federation could collude & freeze everything (at the expense of their entire business model), but they can't censor or arbitrarily inflate. It's really nothing like Eth. There are always tradeoffs, Liquid is by no means perfect & no one is saying you have to use it, but I think blockstream is an extremely valuable bitcoin benefactor & will continue to be.

What's worse is how they set the fire. They fired a flammable poison nerve gas into the basement windows where the women & children had fled. The gas itself does absolutely horrifying things to people as it kills them, & then they shot flash bags through those same windows to ignite everything.

When it was all over there was zero remorse. The federal agents actually took celebratory pictures in front of the rubble. They also hid the evidence that proved the overwhelmingly aggressive nature of the unprovoked govt attacks when the few remaining escapees/survivors went to court over the matter.

The liquid federation for which anyone can run a node to verify the network, & privately peg in their own bitcoin, & also move in & out of via Lightning transactions, is a perfectly reasonable approach to adding some scale to bitcoin. But I think new developments suggest there will be even better options in the not too distant future.

When you view everything through a lens of social heirarchy all objectivity is necessarily discarded.

I think decentralized sidechains that solve the scalability problems CAN & will exist... It looks like we may get a trustless two way peg thanks to bitVM. Which means that we can have a nearly endless number of auditable sidechains (with different privacy benefits & tradeoffs) networked via Lightning bridges.
