I feel like somehow there is going to be another major propaganda push from big blocker types in libertarian circles. #Bitcoin
I mean, I think everything is a miracle. I don't think God has to break his own laws to perform them. He makes grapes grow & makes people who turn them into wine. And I don't think he gave me a brain just to demand that I renounce it's primary function.
Maybe... I just have a hard time making anything from that perspective make sense to me. But I do think people need a north star & I think the Jesus story, with the previously described message of truth vs status, fits that role.
I don't think there is any magical absorbsion of sin. I think the killing of an innocent man happened, & the hope is that we might better see our own nature & learn from it.
The moral of the story is that men, in pursuit of status & power or in an effort to cling to it, will betray & ultimately kill God (and the truth, and all that is good). So in order to "recieve his righteousness" we must remember that the divide between good & evil is in the prioritization of the pursuit of truth vs the pursuit of status.
The shoulder movement is key 💯
Being productive is fulfilling, but it definitely doesn't have to feel like a "job"
I love reality. But imagination is one of the best parts.
In order to make it more realistic, because we often had to stand in line at school, I knew I had to be flying a Harrier because they could hover 😂
Most people don't know this about me, but I have been an imaginary jet pilot since like kidergarten.
Sometimes it just looks like I'm walking, but in my head there are all sorts of jet noises & badass maneuvers happening.
Even without things being crazy on any sort of global scale. The Nile floods all the time & any river that regularly floods may go many decades or even centuries between the most severe floods. The story of Noah is about a man who was "perfect in his generations" which probably means all of his family relationships where healthy. And because of that he knew to heed the warnings of elders & the family was able to work together against all sorts of social attacks to build the sort of structure that would ultimately save their farm. They acted on what they knew to be true, not with concern about what others would think. Through family cohesion & efforts to prepare themselves for the unexpected they survived the storm. And part of the message is also probably that people who seem crazy might be able to see something you don't.
Stories that get told over & over, & especially when translated multiple times (idioms, phrases, & literary devices for communicating significance rarely translate well) naturally end up exaggerated in a "telephone game" like manner. The message is what's important IMO.
Idk why but I have in my head that it's 7pm est. That could be totally wrong I just seem to remember watching daily candles paint at 7 on some site back in the day.
The kindergarten level reading of biblical texts is definitely stupid, but it remains just as stupid whether you accept or reject what's there. The trick is to stop reading like a kindergartener & try to unpack why people would record & translate these stories for thousands of years.
The divide between good & evil is in whether we prioritize the pursuit of truth or the pursuit of status. Those people will almost certainly choose status every time.
I think there is far more that is "understood" in a completely inverted manner than most people realize.
While people being misled is definitely a real problem. People can also be most open to shedding their delusions when they are vulnerable, because success is not the sort of thing that makes you question what you think you know.
The question is how do they define God? What have they found?
You don't think all of these systems were developed with govt backdoors as part of the design from the beginning?
Meh, there are definitely efforts to influence them toward a destructive sort of permissiveness, but being anti-govt is still pretty much always at odds with progressivism. And most of the libertarians I know are much more in line with conservatives, they just don't go full retard & mindlessly favor of Israel like conservatives do.
I do think we may see the end of the US as a single entity though
I mean there are lots of stupid cowards here, but the support for libertarianism is larger than ever.
