Gluconeogenesis. There are no essential carbs.
Sugar is the source of more dysfunction than alcohol

Having unrealistic expectations is a serious red flag because it won't be exclusive to first dates, it will almost certainly apply to their entire concept of love & connection.
Women talking about what they want for a first date:
"I want to do something I've never done before"
"Take me sky diving"
"I'm ready to be wined & dined"
"Be creative"
Me:
You get coffee or tea & the possibility of some interesting conversation. If your NPC vibes are too strong I will politely exit the situation after 15 or 20 minutes.
I don't want anything to look or feel like windows, and I don't want to run most windows software, but if they have improved wine to such a degree that I can seamlessly use the few programs that there are no decent replacements for that does sound kinda interesting 🤔
If I have never had a job & I have no skills, and I certainly couldn't make a comfortable living producing anything on my own. How does it make any sense for me to be able to demand someone else pay me a whole bunch to produce very little?
If all I have is some paperclips & pocket lint, but I really want your nice laptop, can I demand that you trade me your laptop for my paperclips & lint "because everyone deserves a decent way to connect to the internet"...?
Why do you think anyone should be able to force a business owner to trade money & benefits for that person's worthless unskilled labor?
The problem with socialists is that they believe anyone who has more than them should be transformed into some sort of slave to those who have less.
Emotions may motivate, but without a rational direction they motivate people who are unhappy with whatever is happening to riot in the streets & tear shit up like dumb animals. Rationality builds bitcoin & nostr & keet & other tools of liberation. Our capacity for rational & productive behavior is what sets us apart from all the other creatures on earth. We share huge % of our DNA with other dumb but caring creatures. Humanity exists at the margin, everything that makes us human is rational. Caring about anyone or anything a whole lot is meaningless if you don't know how to care for it appropriately. A child can love a ginuea pig to death.
Okay, wish that in one hand & shit in another & see which one fills up first.
Are you really incapable of undersranding the things I have said so far?
Emotions without a considerable amount of awareness & intelligence to guide & direct & temper them, are the source of most of the evils in all of human history.
While there are sometimes emotionless psychos pulling the strings once in a while, its the masses of people controlled by their emotions that really bring all of the horrors to life.
Sure, but do particularly strong feelings generally make people more or less intelligent?
I can get behind this as a snowmobile. The truck isn't as ugly.

Problem is that electrics are least useful & reliable in extreme cold. Needs a diesel swap.
But the machine tools (and ability to save & acquire them) are what make boat & winch & hoist production possible.
It's layers & layers of specialization & innovation & production enabling lots of real savings (capital accumulation) that enable the extension of the key areas of production that enabled the savings in the first place.
Almost made another comment correcting myself, should have said "money & machine tools" - my default is just to take money out of the equation when trying to explain things, but here the point was really to talk about what money enables.
Yeah, that doesn't really mean anything to me. A less flowery way to say that is, "love is a feeling in your chest," but so is anxiety. And bodily feelings don't really accomplish much.
Since values are subjective & love is basically a result of how we value people & things around us, maybe the answer is to free people from each other & from false idols in such a way that people are free to "love" or to pursue what they see as positive & productive things. 🤔
So basically free markets with honest feedback mechanisms are the answer to everything...?
Money facilitates the trade needed to extend & lengthen the process in irder to achieve a hyper productive result
The end result of producing specialized fishing boats is the ability to catch thousands of fish very quickly.
The end result with basic hand tools is the ability to catch a few fish near the shore.
Capital accumulation (machine tools) make the process of producing fish an extension of the process of producing boats & nets & hoists & winches, etc. There is a longer process from start to finish (starting the boat build to actually catching fish), but the finish (boats, nets, etc) makes it possible for a few men to produce with less work what it would have taken hundreds of men to produce with basic tools.
A lot of people like to say "love is the answer," but no one can really define "love."
There will always be entry level jobs with entry level pay. And there will always be lazy people who do the bare minimum & their pay will reflect that. But there should be far more upward mobility. And very few obstacles for anyone who is willing to work for better pay to actually achieve it.
Get the govt out of the way so that anyone can start a business without having to buy permission from the political class, & most people might be able to work for themselves in some form or fashion.
