When a newb tells you to check out a shitcoin, ask them if they make it easy to run a full node (do they encourage it or hide the fact that nodes even matter), how hard is it to run a full node, & how long does it take to download & verify the whole blockchain history.
This can be a good foot in the door way to point them toward what it takes to set up a bitcoin node, because they probably know nothing about the process at all. When they see what real decentralization looks like with direct participation in the bitcoin network they will either close their mind & ignore it (which means there was no helping them anyway) or they will wake up & ask why their shitcoin doesn't want real decentralized participation.
Obviously there are exceptions, but the worst scams don't make network participation easy & obvious. They focus on hype & empty promises.

It's a joint where grease is supposed to be pushed out so that the old dirty stuff is replaced. But maybe the fitting is bad.
Is there some trick to making grease guns usable? I had a shitty one, thought maybe spending more might help, now I have a battery powered one (fewer hand cramps at least) & still more grease goes around the fittings than in, & getting the hose to detatch is still nearly impossible.
Why the fuck isn't there just some sort of release collar?! Are there replacement hoses that have some sort of manual release?

You need to follow a minimum of 200 people for it to not feel dead. Following hashtags can be a little spammy, but can also help you find people. The lack of anger driven engagement algorithms makes the general experience much more positive & enjoyable. You might get some sats if people like your content. And no central corp entity can rug you or cut you off from your followers because of something you said.

Arks may solve the problem in a more trustless way. Maybe channel factories or LN pools & hedghog channels will give Lightning better scaling capabilities too.
