...to see a book, published by "Prebyterian & Reformed Publishing" no less, titled "Black AND Reformed" is...simply shocking. That phrasing carries an enormous weight going back to WEB Dubois--those tracking with James Lindsay et al will hear it right off.
P&R has also published recently a couple of volumes in their "Great Thinkers" series (Foucault, Derrida) by Christopher Watkin, the author of Biblical Critical Theory...
Anyone else notice this and have your "spidey senses" going off?

We don't always keep our older kids away from that stuff (in the world, not of it) unless it's graphic/egregious, they need to exercise their discernment ("spidey senses"), but we do keep our younger ones away until they get their legs under them more firmly.
Apparently my wife read about it somewhere and told my daughter. I haven't seen the episode.
