Air-gapped devices (for read/write) on both ends of the communication.
Air-gapped communicaton on both ends for highly sensitive information.
Be aware of timing attacks. Better to keep some Monero for when you need it and refill occasionally.
Why buy a house, when you can rent it with your capital invested in something that keeps value much better like Monero/Bitcoin?
I believe the owners of real estate are fucked. Their existence is tied to the fiat state.
Anonymity and privacy will be the highest priced good in the next two decades. Only once Bitcoin/Monero are fully capitalised and the state tyranny is broken will it become interesting to own your land again. At the moment you are just licensed and taxed by the state for some parcel in a centralised database with write access only for the state apparatus.
If you need to own land/real estate today look into citadel/community projects.
It's the utility coin of darknet markets.
You seem to have a clear understanding why my assumptions are flawed. Tell me more about your reasoning.
People (not neccesarily the 1% Bitcoiners who are already here) will use their store of value in order to survive, which in most cases means pulling money and value from BTC and spending in fiat.
Monero is perceived (and used) differently today. No one is going to pull more money than today and it's very likely the money newly invested will increase as privacy is eroded on all fronts and CBDC financial censorship is just around the corner.
What you are describing is why Monero will outperform Bitcoin over the coming years. It's meant to be spent and earned and usage as currency is encouraged by the community.
Bitcoin is digital gold in the perception of the 99% who invested because they see it as a chance to earn more fiat in order to gain more freedom. It's something people use for investment or speculation purposes.
Why not Monero as base currency? Bisq is basically a Monero exchange (as around 75% is traded against Monero vs 25% for all other pairs!)
Why not have an RPC based mobile wallet for remote bisq instances?
Monero fixes this.
Everything can be healthy/unhealthy, holy/unholy.
In many cases getting access to selifshness at all is indeed very healthy for both the individual and the environment.
DeepL is what you are looking for.
Only a minority does understand Bitcoin. All of them are here already.
Monero is where the cool kids are today. 100% dissidents and cypherpunks.
nostr:npub1df6eyr7x6cv4gq99h3rjnhj6f4yqzxa97pxf2ecxeq82ea8mwdyqfgns3a I've always wondered why crypto, why this same system #value4value cannot be built on top of the current monetary system and get ride of middle men's as much as possible
I would donate but I don't own crypto and probably never will
Because the current monetary system is a scam. Middle men are only one of many problems with the current implementation of the fiat system.

Luke Palmer, at Monerotopia23, a little after the 13 minute mark starts talking about Nostr and how to implement Monero for zaps. I have heard of other ecosystems implementations using Nostr (mostly Monero and Minds) But I'm sure we will see other ecosystems end up here. I don't really mind, I think the biggest community here will be Bitcoin. The only thing that can ruin that is a well-funded a16z coin. Any other community that joins nostr will just be making nostr (Bitcoin's platform) bigger, even if that particular community isn't a Bitcoiners community.
Note: At one point he refers to a "Lightning improvement proposal" I guess the phrase would be either a NIP or a BOLT. Probably a NIP, that doesn't sound like a problem with the Lightning network in general.
Monero people are mostly Bitcoin OGs.
It's the same community.
Unfortunately the same applies to Bitcoin vs Monero.
Either everybody is covered by default privacy or none is, as the few can easily be singled out.
It's the only time where the herd indeed gives security.
Because more often than not, the government is directly or indirectly involved in creating those attacks. Game theory tells us that from a government perspective terror attacks have much more upsides than downsides.
Yo, this all-metal nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl case from MoneroTime (twitter handle) is sexy af!!
The design lines and the craftsmanship are incredible. And the thinner sandwich build plus the weight of the metal enclosure makes it feel so beautifully substantial and more dense than a typical SeedSigner.
Also a nice endorsement for FOSS. MoneroTime's design interest was mostly (or maybe wholly) motivated by using our hardware as a MoneroSigner -- yup, a fork of SeedSigner for Monero. Our FOSS code attracted more eyeballs and talent and skills to contribute to the mix. Cool.
nostr:npub1l2xfcjd8k5l3c6mkpd95uptdnxcqw5yms0pz57l7v46qzgdju0msy96ndl seems to be already on nostr.
Thank you for this great contribution to Monero and Bitcoin! Hope we also see MoneroSigner soon.
Maybe identity is just an overrated surveillance and control tool.
All spiritual schools work on detaching/desidentifying with your ego-identity - for a reason?
I am not my identity and my identity is not me. Never will be.
Reputation in private/public key networks is a tool to reach confidence values in trusting each other/ my friends friends. That's probably all that is needed for a properly working free society.
