A swimming hole at a hut I camped at on an overnight forest hike in SW Australia. Cold, slowly flowing, dark tea coloured water.

Oh wow, purest nature! That pool comes with an extra challenge on top of the cold. Not so easy sometimes to go into semi-clear waters ... especially in Australia π€ Very nice one!

For me in 2024 it was definitely the Knakion Springs near Sparta, in Greece. Especially now in the winter when the currents are stronger - amazing!! Maybe I can also catch them during some snow this year ππ»

Day 2 Olas post.
This is a fresco showing a Minoan priestess or even Goddess attending to the flowers in the garden of life. Some archeologists say they are lilies.
The Minoan culture, a Bronze Age civilization on the Greek island of Crete (2000-1450 BC), had at least matriarchic elements in their society. The divine Mother was their all encompassing deity. Priestesses and women wore beautiful bare-breasted robes in daily life and ceremonies.

But considering how the mainstream is obsessed with Instagram, it might be a nice way to onboard people to Nostr. There's currently a #olas365 challenge to post a picture there every day of 2025.
