There is lots of beautiful country in Wyoming. I'm lucky because I know people, so I can go in some private areas that aren't open to the general public.

I guess that is true of a lot of places in Wyoming. It is the least populous state and something like the 4th or 5th largest. There are a lot of wide open spaces.

Here is a view of the mountain from which I took the photo of the helicopter, but this is from the other side. I got a picture of some wild Irises in a field in the foreground and the peak in the background.

Wyoming, but not near any city in Wyoming.

While enjoying our view after a climb to the peak of a rocky hill/mountain, we saw this military helicopter doing exercises. If you zoom in towards the loafing shed, you'll see the helicopter just left of the shed.

I messaged Strike last night and they fixed my limits first thing this morning, so I was able to get my BTC. They didn't say why I suddenly got a super low limit, but it is fixed, so the world is well.

Normally I just have to enter my pin, but this time I had to reenter my email, get emailed a code, and then enter my pin. Maybe it reset my account or something. I just did the biggest direct deposit ever, so I am not liking only being able to remove $25. Hopefully it goes back to normal soon. I don't want to leave money on Strike.

I've always been able to transfer as much money off of Strike as I wanted, to get it out of Strike and into my personal wallet. Today, it won't let me transfer off more than $25. What is going on? Is this just temporary?

I'm good at recording when & where things are planted and if I do anything special such as amendments, but I am terrible at noting anything past that point. I really should record how everything is doing and when things start producing and such. That would help a bunch.

Something like 30 years ago, I dated a guy in the military. We were able to take our cars to a hanger, raise the car on a full sized lift, wear provided overalls to protect our clothes, and they had all of the tools and a 55 gallon drum with a huge funnel on top to drain into. If I still had that setup, I'd change my own oil. When I have to climb under my car with my nose a 1/2 inch from the undercarriage, I'll let someone else do the dirty work as long as I can reasonably afford it. Of course I'm glad I know how to change it if my circumstances change.

There are times in life that you have more time than money and others when you have more money than time. I'm in the latter at this stage in life.

Over the past year, I've been putting bunny bedding in my garden (sometime fresh and sometimes composted). I started adding some Dr. Earth organic fertilizer, azomite, green sand, mychorizae fungi (sp?), and sometimes some blood meal or bone meal. My plants and trees are doing better than ever before. I'm thinking I found the recipe. My starts also have transplanted better than ever before. In the past, they get so stressed getting transplanted into my beds, that it can take a full month, or even more, to get them happy again. This year, things have looked good almost immediately. It has helped that we have had more rain and the rain has been more slow drizzles instead of our normal scorching heat and then getting pounded by thunderstorms with 40-60 mph winds and even some hail in addition to the rain. I hope this good gardening year continues.

That is theft, not charity because the money was taken from people against their will and given to people who didn't work for it.

It is completely different if individuals decide to help people. We've helped people in need before, but we know the people and we know it won't be wasted and that the people we donated to are having hard times and weren't lazy.

All life is precious.

I was reading John Calvin's " Institutes of the Christian Religion" last night and in Volume 1, Chapter 8, Section 58 which was discussing how some people try to rank sins and treat some sins as not so bad. I read:

"we have been commanded to 'love God with all our heart, with all our mind, and with all our soul'. Unless, then all the powers of the soul are intent on loving God, we have already abandoned obedience to the law. For the enemies who rise up in our conscience against his Kingdom and hinder his decrees prove that God's throne is not firmly established therein."

This should remind us all that "there is none righteous, no not one", that we "all fall short of the glory of God" and that we can't earn our way into heaven by "good" works. Only Jesus is truly good and we rely on his goodness for our salvation and eternity. Whether we are Christians or not, our measure should always be the Bible and Jesus, not other people. Although we can always find someone worse than us, we can't even get close to the goodness of God.

Thank God for his work of grace on the Cross.

I make a homemade moisturizer made from primarily organic leaf lard, with a little jojoba oil, sea buckthorn oil, borage oil, and some essential oils. It moisturizes amazingly and has no toxic chemicals. Living in a dry climate, I practically bathe in the stuff daily.

Please pray for my family and particularly my youngest son. He is 16 and has Down Syndrome. He sometimes loses his temper and he is getting really strong. A week ago he lost it and was hitting all of us. Luckily his hitting was open handed, so, although it really hurt when he hit me upside the head, it didn't cause any real damage, but he could. When he gets into a mindless rage, he doesn't care what he damages or who he hurts. We are at a point that when I am trying to not hurt him and he doesn't care if he hurts me, I will lose every time.

Pray for wisdom teaching and disciplining him. Pray that he would accept Jesus. Pray that he would have self control and not hurt anyone. So far the only people he hits are family, but if he hits someone else, he could wind up in jail for assault. I also worry that he could send one of us, most likely me, to the hospital.
