That’s what the other social media sites wired us to think. Maybe the checkmark on nostr is not needed?

Yeah. Unfortunately I don’t think any self custodial wallets work with Zaps? Unless I’m wrong? I use MUUN outside of Nostr.
But I only have like $10 on WoS so I’m not too worried about custody! Maybe I’ll reconsider once I start receiving too many zaps! 😂
Why not? I use WOS only for Nostr. I have another (self custodial) lightning wallet for IRL stuff, and other wallets.
What’s the advantage of using 2 separate accounts for zaps? Are you concerned about custody or privacy?

I didn’t follow the trial but I watched clips of the tech forensics testimonies.
Scary everything they know from a phone and onstar. They know he drove on a street at a specific time and slowed down at a specific spot. Makes you wonder about privacy!
I guess the intent was to prevent apps from allowing users to easily sign up on an app only to have them go through multiple hoops to delete an account.
But it seems weird to me for a blockchain based technology to have deletable accounts.
