I feel bad for the workers but Canada Post has been terribly managed over the last couple decades, especially since online shopping.
Amazon Canada used to use Canada Post for pretty much every order. Now they have moved away from Canada Post. Itโs the same with many online retailers who prefer to use random no name shipping companies than a โreputableโ company like Canada Post.
People hardly send and receive letters now. And Canada Post let the parcel delivery side of things slip away.
โAccording to the union, its list of demands includes wage increases aligned with inflation, enhancements to group benefits โ such as coverage for fertility treatments and gender-affirming care โ improved protections against technological changes, more paid medical leave, paid meal and rest periods and higher short-term disability paymentsโ

It dropped from 70K to 17K in the last couple years. I think such drops will continue to happen especially with the ETFs.
ETFs holders are in it for the money and once they feel they need to de-risk their investments there will be a mass exodus from the ETFs which will further drive prices down. So as much as we were happy to ride the ETF on the way up, we need to be prepared for the opposite the happen eventually.
I donโt know if Bitcoin price will continue to be as influenced by halving events as it has been, but regardless I believe price will continue to be very cyclical and will continue to have large price drops for the foreseeable future.
To be honest, I donโt think most people care about freedom, moderation issues, privacy, etc. Maybe one day there will be a tipping point, but most normies are still happily using Gmail, Chrome, Tik Tok, etc.
Be careful what you wish for: in 6 months bears will use that candle too when Bitcoin drops 80%!๐

I still feel bad because I didnโt have $423,000 to start with! ๐
This 10-year-old Arizona girl sold her prize chickens for $2,100 โ then Chase froze her check, closed her bank account, and told her sheโs โnot going to get her money back.โ

I love the direction nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm is taking, by going fully self-custodial.
People are so hard on "don't keep your bitcoin on exchanges", yet do not apply that so easily to the Lightning Network.
Run your own node.
After all, we're here to "be our own banks"... right?

๐ It's not a sunset of a wallet.
It's a sunrise of sovereignty. ๐
Does custody matter as much for the Lightning network?
Donโt most individuals only have a handful of fiat coins for zaps or small purchases in their lightning wallet.
I hate waking up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom because half the time when I go back to bed I cant fall asleep for an hour or more.
Ugh
If it was a caviar sandwich with gold sheets on top, then $33 is a steal!
I bet that scenario will play out very differently whether Trudeau or Polievre (not me haha) get elected!
While I donโt agree with all of RFK Jrโs claims, some of which have been debunked many times, the Elizabeth Warren stuff is so frustrating and appalling.
Politicians should not be able to own individual stocks or get โsmallโ gifts worth close to a million dollars!
In 2019, the median annual wage in the US was about $40k. And she got โฆ$800k in gifts the same year just from Big Pharma!
Yes, Iโm curious too. For research purposes of course! ๐ง
Can you imagine, one day you will see the same thing about $1 million!
