Canāt watch right now. Whatās the date? lol
Thatās my pet peeve with politics. One of them anyways. 99% of the time party members just vote for whatever their leader says, regardless of whatās best for their local constituents.
In this case they are not happy and abstained, which is really the same as voting against the non confidence motion.
Ugh
Yeah. Thatās unfortunately a barrier to mass adoption too. People are (for the most part) dumb about security.
āOh, yes Microsoft tech support agent calling me from India, please have my 6 digits 2FA code for my banking account to verify my identityā.
Then the same person will later blame their bank for the theft!
When you donāt have a safety net itās hard! You have only yourself to blame and thatās not a comfortable feeling. Accountability?
I donāt know to what degree normies are prepared to remove the safety net of a ābenevolent protector governmentā.
16. SEARCH ENGINES

"Search" is overwhelmingly dominated by a small number of companies, particularly Google (90%) and Microsoft. These companies are filtering, favouring, and blocking results. Sadly many of the private search engines rely on these companies as a data source, and as such their results are filtered by default. Search Engines also track everything we search, they literally know our thoughts better than we do.
The battle here is on two fronts (privacy & censorship).
Privacy-preserving and censorship-resistant search engines provide an alternative to the Google panopticon. So it's highly recommended to protect ourselves and support these companies.
Stop Using: Google Search, Bing, Yandex, Yahoo (Bing)
Start Using:
š» Brave Search is a private and secure search engine that respects user privacy. Built on Brave's blockchain-based platform, it aims to provide users with accurate and relevant results while keeping data collection and tracking at bay.
š» DuckDuckGo doesn't track or store user data. Its focus on user privacy has made it a go-to option for those an escape from excessive tracking. DuckDuckGo has no relationship with Google, nor do they source any of our search results from Google.
š» MetaGer is a German-developed search engine that prioritizes user privacy through encrypted connections and anonymized search results.
š» Startpage is a Netherlands-based search engine that anonymizes your searches by using proxies to retrieve results from Google without storing any personal information.
š» Searx_engine is a decentralized, privacy-preserving search engine that allows users to access multiple search engines simultaneously. Its focus on user privacy and transparency has made it a popular choice among privacy-conscious individuals.
š» Mojeek is a UK-based search engine that aims to provide accurate results while respecting user privacy. It uses its own index of websites and doesn't rely on third-party data sources.
š» Swisscows is a Swiss based search engine that prioritizes user privacy by not storing any personal information or tracking user data.
š» Qwant is a France-based search engine that doesn't store user data or logs. Its decentralized approach to search ensures a more private experience for users while providing accurate and relevant results.

āCan Ethereum reach $5,000 if Bitcoin reaches $150,000ā.
This was one of the headlines in my news feed yesterday. Forbes I believe.
The answer is yes. It can, probably.
But people have a short memory. When Bitcoin was at the all time high of the previous cycle (~69k), Ethereum was just under $5000 at $4900. Somehow Bitcoin doubling from the previous ATH to $150k and Ethereum merely returning to its previous ATH is a good thing for Ethereum?
Ok lol.
Ah yes, you know when you know you made it in life? When you have a gold urinal! š
Haha. It is relatable, because a few weeks ago my elderly mom told me it would be a good time to sell my Bitcoin holdings at 90,000.
Hey, do you remember that time when Bitcoin was under $100,000? Ah, the good old days!
Damn it, I was sleeping when we crossed $100k.

Isnāt the attack vector more simple than that? A government wishing to ābanā Bitcoin would just need to ban exchanges? No? Or perhaps charge an egregious tax rate on unrealized Bitcoin gains?
I know there would still be ways around both of these, but such bans would effectively prevent or deter most ānormiesā from accessing Bitcoin.
