I’m sorry to hear that. The love felt from a loyal companion is definitely unmatched.
Exactly! Doesn’t hit you until the time comes.
So very sorry for your loss...🫂💖😢

The best workout right there
Starting an edible and medicinal nursery. Figuring out how to market my new business model in helping people grow their own food. Learning new medicinal plants and their benefits. Figuring out which activities the kiddos are going to pursue this year. Learning more about soil science and its effect on plants. I also have some projects around the house I need to finish. Repair hoop house, rebuild a shed to greenhouse, build a lean-to.
I wouldn’t say my mind is spinning. It’s more so my mind hops from one interest or project to another as I try to balance them all. Eventually they get done in time.
Nature is my primary avenue for peace and reflection. She always provides the answers and slows down my speedy mind.
Who else is OFF Twitter for good?

Never was there
That’s exactly right! Every day is abrupt change for me. Too many interests to stay steady paced.
I’ll say the Buff Orpingtons are the ones who like to explore and find anything fresh. The Rhode Island reds tend to stay with kitchen scraps and pellets.
They ate all the greens off the top. Usually I’d leave them in the soil for worms but this one was huge and I had to see how big it was under the soil. To your question.. chickens will practically eat anything.
I’m a Gemini and would appreciate if you kept Uranus off of me 😂😂🤣🤣 (I know I have child humor)
We harvested this #Daikon Radish at over 2lbs! The #chickens couldn’t resist so we decided to give them a fresh snack during this cold streak.

Very kind of you CK. He’s getting lots of goodies.
A tough note with a heavy heart.
We’ve decided it’s time to put down my best friend of the last 14 years.
Ruger has been on so many adventures with me. He’s been there to watch me get married, have children, go through many trials and tribulations. No matter what rain or shine, he’s been by my side to always show his loyalty and comfort.
This is by far the smartest dog I’ve ever trained. Of course he knew all the basic commands, sit, stay, lay, shake, hi five and come. He had a Facebook page where he displayed all his fashionable hats and outfits. He shined when he would also stay while a treat was placed on his nose, play detective scooby doo as I’d hide his treats in another room and have him sniff them out. He says “Ri Rove Ruuu!!” Which I’ll always remember until the day I get to meet him again.
I took him on a walk today to find his resting place. We found the perfect spot next to his favorite creek under a couple old growth oak trees. In the evening the sun hits this spot just right and looks magical. Something was telling us that was the spot for him.
As I dug his grave, I was flooded with all the great memories we’ve had throughout the years. Ironically, at one point I had to stop and collect myself. Ruger walked right up to me and hobbled down in the hole. I think he was telling me that was the perfect spot for him to rest.
We have a couple days left with him until his vet appointment this Thursday. Boy will he be spoiled by us all during his last days.
This note is for you RuRu. I love you boy. Rest in Peace

Please keep us posted. Looking for another book to read and learn from.
Here’s the crappy little #birdhouse my brother and I made late last night while #stoned out of our minds 🤯🤣
Waiting to see if any birds out there are looking for a fixer upper.
