The one and only. BTC. XMR. Freedom maxi. Say no to CBDCs and digital ID. #FreeRoss #McAfeeDidntKillHimself

Zapping so hard I need two phones ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Let's go ⚡⚡⚡

You're missing out on a lot of sats if you shun the adult content. I can understand not showing it on the homepage by default. Maybe only show it to signed in users and give everyone an option if they want to see nsfw content or not.

The adult industry is always an early adopter to any new tech. Nostr and Bitcoin are no exception. In addition it's an industry that is also often unbanked and therefore has a lot to gain from it.

Just seems like shooting yourself in the foot and shunning a huge market of existing and potential users for fear of being hypothetically judged by strangers.

Your platform your choice ofc but that's just my two sats on the issue.

Fuckin hell even on tractors now...

This is the thing, people think it can only affect EVs, but that's simply untrue. The modern ICE car is just as reliant on computers as any EV.

Bullish that even people who aren't tech savvy are responding by saying "fuck that shit how do I get around it?"

If enough of a demand emerges mechanics will absolutely fill it and it simply won't make business sense for manufacturers to play cat and mouse with hackers as their own customers resent them.

Vice is being a clickbaity calling it a "black market" though. It's a grey market at worst and even that would only be because it violates the ToS which is unenforceable in court.

Nothing illegal about hacking something you own. It's as much of a black market as ECU remapping.

Yup and for self driving. And to increase the acceleration, in other words use the full power of the car you "own."

Mercedes announced they're also charging a subscription for acceleration and BMW announced a heating subscription.

Expect all this shit to get pwned assuming the market doesn't simply reject it.

That sounds like Pwnagotchi to me, but interested to see what it is if it's another project.

I got a Pineapple but it's overpriced for what it is - there's scripts on GitHub that automate building the Pineapple firmware on much cheaper consumer routers that use the same SoC. It's just a bunch of open source tools with a friendly UX on top of OpenWrt after all.

That said, I can personally attest to the Pineapple's ability to fit in a small bag and be controlled from a smartphone while it's powered by a regular power pack used to change phones etc and it does have impressive range.

> The group of hackers claims that their “Tesla Jailbreak” is “unpatchable” and allows to run “arbitrary software on the infotainment.”

Been waiting for this. Knew it was inevitable.

No one smart is going to pay subscription fees for heated seats you greedy cunts. Won't catch me without a jailbreak if that becomes the norm.

Remember it's not just Tesla but also Mercedes and BMW doing it.

Absolutely it is. There's a cool open source project called Pwnagotchi that automates the process using machine learning, is that the Pi project you were thinking of?

I half agree with this. It is true for society as it is today.

But if there was no state, it would be in the rational self-interest of large conglomerates to use their monopolistic power and wealth to gain more power and wealth, not unlike a state, no?

This isn't an inherent problem with capitalism but rather with monopolies, however monopolies are bound to form in industries with high barriers to entry, and businesses in monopolistic positions have no incentive to compete for better products and lower prices.

What the best solution to this would be is certainly up for debate, but it can't be ignored as a legitimate concern.
