Route hint on your invoice, not invoice hints..

2 really, first one is private channels are sometimes a bit of a pain to set up, you need to use invoice hints and some nodes just plain refuse to route anything of any decent value. Second is always check the fees of the nodes you’re looking to establish a channel with, some are significantly higher. This is my 3rd node and still learning ☺️

Spent about 12500 sats over the last few days open and closing and rebalancing #lightning channels. 🤣 Finally happy though for the price of a couple of posh coffees. #coffeechain Only one way to learn right, to try. ☺️

Both high enough to cover the payments. Odd… I have just done a few 2500 sat payments to get a bit of capacity so I won’t worry about it too much for now.

I need help… I’ve set up BTCPay Server and established 3x 250k sat private channels to Olympus by Zeus, Megalithic.me (small channels) and 1ML.com node alpha. I’ve used private since I don’t have any intention of routing payments over such small channels, just for my own private use.

I use hints on invoices to receive payments, but no matter what fees I apply… I’m unable to send anything more than a few sats.

This isn’t my first node… but for some reason this time it’s being a massive pain in the arse…
