My dog has been adverse to grooming since puppyhood. Except for what I call paw-dicures, puppy pedicures. As a puppy she would even howl the entire time I was in the shower. I think wrestling an alligator might be easier than bathing her. I keep her away from the worst smells and do force baths on her sometimes. I’ve also accepted she smells like a dog.
It’s the same look my dog gives when she has to get a bath. She hates it. Much prefers being a stinky dirty dog.

Ugh so you can’t be sure she didn’t retain some placenta. I’d keep a close eye on her and call the vet if she seems to be worsening at all. In the meantime would you like me to reach out to some farming friends for more specific advice? Unfortunately I know people who’ve raised goats and cows and not sheep. I’d try a sheep specific message board. Have any neighbors raising sheep you could ask?
