can somebody explain why a lot of the muricans walk around in their home with shoes on
i am confusion
We take our shoes off when we go OUTSIDE; when we're inside, floors are dirty & disconnected from the earth, so we cover up...
Or something like that π€·ββοΈπ
They never talk about greedy homeowners taking max profits and raising prices in those neighborhoods π€£
Ignore people who ignore logic!
My first Bitcoin interview was 10 years ago today, right after MTGOX crashed. They wanted to know if Bitcoin was dead. π

How's that pastry shop doing today? I'm curious π
That family has much lower time preference than most #bitcoiners combined. Just sayin'
Lady cop runs away...
I just got a new sandbox phone and put #GrapheneOS on it. I'm really digging it, but one thing I'm making sure to do is only install open source apps. I specifically do not want xitter on this phone!
Much better android experience IMO, but then again, I am a tinkerer... π
I'm on #Amethyst, amd I see the image fine too, fwiw
Look at all those hydrocarbons, I mean, fOsIlL fUeLs!!
It's an #energy #language #psyop
Be careful out there; Words are weapons.
What's actually really interesting to me here is, unlike price charts that all start at various points in time depending on who produced it, this chart is generated from on-chain data, starting from the genesis block.
It's totally unambiguous, without exception; every single person running a node will produce this exact chart, verbatim.
If this isn't a good enough source of truth to run with as we progress into the future, I have no idea what else is better π€·ββοΈ
Which mint would they be using? π

Sovereign individuals free themselves, and work, so they don't have to enslave people π
Yep, agree. Didn't say it was difficult; just that it was risky. And by risky i mean I nicked my finger, once, ever. π€£
But yeah, the whole "down, up, sideways" way was new to me when I started using one.
I've been working on setting up a colocated proxmox cluster because running a ton of things on various pi's is a royal pain over time (also I sleep a lot better at night with this setup!).
My node (almost 5 years old) is the last thing to migrate from a Pi, but I've held off because it still works fine...better, faster, and more reliable than LSP wallets for sure. 1GB is very likely going to run out this year though if I had to bet on it.
Get an old laptop. Corporate ones are cheap amd it doesn't need to be a recent model by a longshot. My company used to let me keep their hardware whenever they upgraded them for me every couple years, I would just ask, and they'd yank the drive for data security and let me take the rest, so I had a few laying around collecting dust π
"Safety razor" although replacing blades can be a bit risky π
I used Gox, but through some subconscious happy accident, I never kept coins on there for more than 10 minutes. The remarkable thing is that, this was 3 or 4 years before I recognized that self-custody was *it*... at the time, I just wanted to play SatoshiDice π€¦ββοΈ
Live & Learn π
Sad part is, this is why for decades now, most app's dont store passwords in plaintext.
Most... but the rest are the ones this meme is referencing π
