There is really not much excuse for why you should not be running your own Bitcoin/ lightning node and a Nostr relay. It's inexpensive, fun, easy and a great learning experience.
I highly encourage everyone to do it.

I mainly use amethyst and iris, because I use android. But I don't see push notifications for those or the ability to upload images in private chat.

A quick tip to upload any photos.
Go to: https://nostr.build/
-After you have uploaded your photo, you will receive a link.
- Copy it and paste it on your whatever you post on nostr (for example if the client is Damus).
- That’s it. 😄
