Iโm all about the thongs (we call them slippahs). It doesnโt work out well for me since we are also over run by fire ants. My guy keeps scolding me for not wearing shoes when I go out cause I keep getting bit and my feet swell up to double the size. ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Steaks in cast iron, roasted celery root, mushroom wine sauce, and one of my unique vegetable dishes, named Arecibos after the telescope.
Theyโre artichoke bottoms stuffed with a garlic clove and cream cheese, topped with shaved Parmesan, and baked golden brown (these got a little darker than usual but were still delicious!)

He eats everything he catches. The only thing left this morning were entrails, a foot and the tail.
We got this cat when he was six weeks old to keep the rats at bay. Over the years he has caught his fair share of creatures to supplement his diet. From moles to mongooses to birds and gophers. As heโs gotten older (now the ripe old age of 10) I thought he was slowing down, until tonight. We came outside to witness his fresh kill. Poor bunny. Proud kitty.
Found this little guy tonight eatin grass and poopin. Missing a chunk of fur from his butt, hopefully he makes it through another night.
