https://pcloud.com (not private or secure unless you have paid plan but shouldn't matter for this)
Telegram was never secure, they've been lying about this for over a decade
My GitHub account was suspended for no reason... we really need to move away from centralized platforms for Nostr development
No browsers is safe. 3 engines left, all primarily developed by big tech companies. It's mpossible to make a new browser because of the obscene complexity of the web, the creation of a new web browser would be comparable in effort to the Apollo program or the Manhattan project. https://drewdevault.com/2020/03/18/Reckless-limitless-scope.html
Replaceable Nostr events could replace most text-based websites.
Bitcoiners really need to start building privacy tools
It says here the baseband has full access to memory and can compromise it unless IOMMU used, which all the devices GrapheneOS supports have, so it's not an issue
Ring signatures
Keet is going open source when they come out of beta, supposedly.
The firewall app is a frontend for the leaky LineageOS firewall, it claims to offer features it cannot. Sensors permission on GrapheneOS is per app instead of all or nothing and having developer options enabled is added attack surface, the Wasted app doesn't work, can be bypassed by holding volume down, law enforcement knows about this and GrapheneOS has warned people about it for years, GrapheneOS now has duress password feature that isn't faulty and fixed device admin wipe API so Wasted, etc will work. Storage Scopes and Contact Scopes let you limit access to specific files and contacts for apps requesting those permissions.
I think I might prefer this to UIKit
I've always wanted UIKit on other platforms
Building a completely new mobile OS is a very ambitious project unless you're going to go the route of Firefox OS, which could somewhat work, but instead forking AOSP and applying this UI seems more realistic, and I'd totally use that
So, how am I supposed to use nostr:npub1lnp2p0v0tqpldhvtyqdpmkm85jmwy6phrlnn202p62mxsjhh5c0q5lyurp without Telegram? It might be spyware, but right now it's undeniably useful unfortunately. Is there a way to port lnp2pbot to Keet, or some other p2p app?
I don't think true P2P will ever work out for messaging, encrypted messages being sent via relays is fine. lnp2pbot should build on top of (currently very bad) Nostr DMs or SimpleX instead
THERE IS A NIP FOR PUBLIC CHATS BUT I DON'T THINK MANY CLIENTS IMPLEMENTED IT https://nostr-nips.com/nip-28
