The shutdown of Mutiny Wallet, was such a shock. I'm glad this project is still around. I can't wait to try it out. However I'll be more careful, since I got rugged by the Freedom One Federation.

Thanks for flagging! After reviewing https://observer.fedimint.org/, it seems 3/4 guardians are online, but even these are out of consensus with the block height - leaving the mint in a degraded state.

Being out of block height consensus should only affect on-chain transactions, but to your point LN transactions are still failing - so the issue is likely with their Lightning Gateway.

Sending and receiving inside the federation between two members is also not possible.. Just wanted to give this information.

Thanks for for the information. I know this federation is unrelated to Fedi, but thank you.

Freedom One will shut down on February 10th. But it's still impossible to withdraw funds, and porbably will remain like this until the funds are lost.Anyways, this was a risk we accepted...

I get this error: no lightning gateway is available.. I guess we're all rugged :(

Any content moderation is censorship. However in large group chats, this might be necessary..

Are you also considering "content moderation" in chats between two people?

One company controlling a sizable percentage of bitcoin supply is a serious threat. Same is true for BlackRock. I hope the bear market, cleans this mess.

Does it have any privacy features?

There are multiple places in Antwerp, where they accept Bitcoin. Check BTC map. However there's one lovely chocolate / dessert shop as well. They're not on BTC map. But check them out:

PS: they have delicious Tucho Dubai pistachio chocolate! :)
