Nuance. Missing in both camps. Right or left.

Thanks, I've been also using it since it was Netscape Navigator 😀. It's just that it's still hanging on Google's teat a bit because it's their biggest sponsor. And it's a bit slow sometimes. But the rich ecosystem makes up for it.

There's one annoying bug under Ubuntu Linux though. Wenn I try to save an image with CTRL+S it opens endless dialog boxes so that I have to kill the whole Firefox process. Haven't found any fix yet.

Web: iris.to, snort.social, nostrgram.co, satellite.earth

Mobile: Amethyst, Plebster, Iris (hybrid app)

Right-wing and left-wing are basically the same. It's like Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola, both cola. Drink water, my friend.

If you reply to an email or message from me more than 48 hours later, you will usually find me asking the question "Who are you?" or "What is it about again?"

A low body count is always good. No matter what you think it is.

My favourite email forwarding service http://addy.io seems to accept Bitcoin payments now. Don't know when that happened, but cool.

"We do feel like we are in an information war"

Yeah, because you started it.

Nah, but X has some trouble with ad revenues.

That's interesting. There is a bridge from browser to local Obsidian?

Let them know, what you're up to (maybe they'll see it the telemetry data)

I have a similar setup. Except I use FF for daily browsing and Chrome for coding/IT work. Google has all my websites in its index anyway, so it doesn't really matter. But I agree on Mullvad and Tor Browser.

Yes, not the ideal option, but still better than others on average.

So, USA sees aliens, Mexico sees aliens ... who else?

Someone said https://satellite.earth/ is good. Let me try this client.

Are there any Bitcoiners here, who offer professional Bitcoin consulting?

If yes, I may have something interesting for you.

Leaving voice messages with loud street noise in the background on WhatsApp or Signal is the most narcissistic thing to do. Nothing says more

"Look, I know you probably have 15 text messages on 4 different clients + 10 group chats + email + video conferences going on. But you got to stop everything you're doing and take your time to listen to me, because I have no time to type."

... than that. Only moms and dads are allowed to do this. Nobody else.

Whenever you feel useless and superfluous, remember there are professors of economics who have hundreds of students and thousands of social media followers because they've published several books that are full of shit.

Man, Nostr apps are still so shitty ...

I get a notification from Amethyst (the Android flagship nostr app) about a private message. I tap on it. Amethyst opens its messages section. Displays: nothing but a 'Reload' button. I tap on it. And wait ... nothing happens. I tap on it 2 times, 3 times ... nothing. Have to open the web app.

Software that wouldn't even be merged into the master branch makes it to the end user's phone. Let that sink in.

Ok ok, you mantra slingshot. I stack Sats and stay humble. Happy now?

Now let's move on, can we. What about building a real circular economy and escape this unsound money system, so we can have freedom? Or is this again just about mindless materialism?
