What do you do when you exceed your rate limit quota and Gemini becomes unresponsive? 😬

Tried Claude Sonnet too, but it really got on my nerves. Now I've been playing around with Gemini CLI for hours, it's so much better.
Ok installed it now with npm. Works. And looks good so far.
No, via python3/pip
One hour and I couldn't even install it with the help of Claude AI. It's frustrating.
I tried Claude. It can't handle projects once they get to a certain size. And it has a short memory too.
Ok, which AI ist best for vibe coding? #asknostr
Interesting stats.
And by the way, I'm constantly amazed at how good I am at spotting trends. No BS. I'll be using some model and wonder "is this really the best one for this job?" thinking everyone else has found something way better. But nope, turns out I'm actually right in line with the trend. I actually use Claude-3.7-Sonnet pretty often. And sometimes Claude-Sonnet-4 for coding stuff.
I don't set trends, but I sure can spot them. And pretty early on too.
That's how it was with other technologies in the past too; I always knew which ones would win out. Maybe I should become a tech trend advisor, is that even a job yet?
No problem. I like the Ottoman canon.
I used to think that way too when I was younger.
That might change pretty soon once you meet more of the brothers around here. Sometimes it gets really busy in this place. Oh, and here are a few:
Assalamu alaykum & welcome!
You can easily just find this out for yourself. There are lots of studies about it.
Yeah yeah, not everything that doesn't fit your agenda is FUD.
You can immediately spot any health or nutrition "expert" as a fraud and throw them in the trash as soon as they recommend eating pork. No matter how many books they've written. They have no clue about anything. And I don't even mean this in a religious context, but purely for health reasons.

You placed the Nostr symbol last, instead of first.

Have you taken too many red pills?
Are you 'Mericans watching the Football World Cup next year? Or as you (and only you) call it "Soccerrrrr".
Because real men in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America watch football, you know?
You haven't really gotten what Nostr is all about if you've never zapped with Nostur. It's a UX masterpiece.
Pro tip: Use the „Nostur“ nostr client when zapping. Thank me later.
Welcome brother.
It might feel a bit slow-going at first here on Nostr, but if you stick with it, it starts to get fun. You just gotta let yourself be kinda "rewired" away from all those algorithms and the mainstream crowd.
Okay, this is going to get interesting. Turkey isn't just a different beast altogether, they're also a NATO member. And not a small one at that. Turkey has the second-largest ground forces in NATO after the US, and they've also been training other nations in regional conflicts. How are other NATO members going to handle that? I won't even get into their newer drone technologies, that stuff's way over my head.
You don't have to be scared of #CSS anymore. AI Assistance is coming to Chrome's DevTools.
I'm curious to see how far this support will go. Whether it'll also solve complex inheritance issues.

What is SAIF exactly? Is it an org with certain principles? Does it have a Does it have a hierarchy? Is it a new idea or philosophy? (it has to be *new*, because obviously it needs a new term for it). Even that's not clear to beginn with.
Whatever it is, I can't get anything more out of it than a "sincere declaration of intent" without any further consequences, benefits, or connection to real life, whether digital or analog, for Muslims like me.
Building Zion. And welcoming new migrants. According to the Sunnah of the Medinan sahaba.
Switched from chatgpt to nostr:nprofile1qqsdy27dk8f9qk7qvrm94pkdtus9xtk970jpcp4w48k6cw0khfm06mspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsj08ren and cut my AI costs as a casual user by 95%. And improved my privacy at the same time. Highly recommend.
Yeah, it's cool.
Yeah, definitely. Use NymVPN's "Anonym (Mixnet)" mode to hop through 5 servers when posting or interacting.
Ach du scheiße. Aber auch logisch. Schafe fressen schließlich auch Gras. Oder rauchen es.
We don't write code anymore. We let AI write it. See https://shakespeare.diy/ or https://conductor.build/ (check status at https://status.anthropic.com/, if it gets stuck).
"I like things I can touch" ... and that lose value over time.

I just had a nostalgic moment and wondered how snort.social is doing (apparently it's called Phoenix now) and logged in there. Phoenix, formerly known as Snort, formerly known as Iris has somehow had quite a turbulent history and was often unstable at times, which is why many users moved on. It was also one of my first clients.
But it seems to have improved since then. It's somehow fast and smooth now and has all the essential features. Is anyone here a Phoenix user?

A Mac system indexes every drive, that's connected to it (like external USB drives). You can prevent that by simply adding an empty
.metadata_never_index file to the drive's root directory.
touch /Volumes/YOUR_DRIVE/.metadata_never_index
