Vibherpunk.

Still new to ecash. If I recover a wallet from another device, I see the balance won’t transfer. When the wallet receives sats, how does it choose which device to send them too, since the balance cannot reside on two devices at once?

Anyone here familiar with web3 or working in it? I never understood what that is.

For me, it was food. Went from college athlete to morbidly obese. The sensation of eating just hit me different. Every bite was euphoric.

I found my greater addiction in Bitcoin. I have embraced it consuming my thoughts almost every waking moment because it keeps the demons at bay.

I’m nearly back to college level physique. I recognize my younger spirited self again, undoing decades of selling out daily in the pursuit of fiat and social acceptance, turning to food for fleeting pleasure after each exhausting day of masking.

I am fortunate to have rediscovered Bitcoin. It’s a mind virus that rewires the brain and leaves no room for other infectious thoughts. It’s freed me.

And it’s wonderful to recognize myself again, after all these years.

Nostr and lightning wallets need a smart watch app.

Stacking sats, stacking sets, stacking friends. Productive day.

So this is a multi billion dollar startup w/o product market fit?

Or a public VC that has its own incubator?

But speculation on the OpCo none the less. What am I missing?

Not shitting on it. Bought shares because of the management team. But questions still stand.

Listening to Citadel Dispatch, the latest one with nostr:npub19kv88vjm7tw6v9qksn2y6h4hdt6e79nh3zjcud36k9n3lmlwsleqwte2qd mentions there’s variations in channel speeds as well because of trade offs in what channels offer. That may be contributing to the transaction speed as well.

Great! Here’s some questions that would help me understand it a bit more:

-Is it more reliable to use than a noncustodial lightning wallet? As in higher uptime (or node uptime doesn’t matter?), faster to transact (as in less dependent on node or channel hardware), etc.

-If you were to allocate ratios of a holding between on chain, noncustodial lightning, and eCash, what would those ratios to each be?

-How’s it different than a stable coin?

-Can eCash conceivably be converted at POS to a local currency… so it can actually solve the use problem ₿ has?

-Who are running the current mints, how are the eCash structured/pegged to ₿ today?

-How can eCash be structured in the future?

-What are today’s use cases?

-Is it a layer 3 or a layer 2?

-Can eCash be noncustodial by running your own mint?

-What’s the difference between the different wallets?

-WTF is Cashu?

-Why use eCash on Nostr instead of a lightning wallet?

-Why introduce trust back into Bitcoin?

-How can it be used without internet connections while still being custodial?

-Any books on eCash?

Is a store of value the main benefit this Satoshi Nakamoto person is referring to, then?

eCash is custodial. Predicated on a trusted third party. Just trying to understand, and am early in my rabbit hole learnings of eCash. Seems like a principled position, not one based on the size of the value.

Can you post screenshots of gameplay?

If only there were something, perhaps some type of alternative store of value, that we could adopt to make these people less relevant to our everyday lives… nostr:note1u0w3trzdatjzu9yn62fr09ufp74vgeymrfwyw9776p8jyjvk43cqrcuspp

1) Bitcoin's phone book.

2) Social media solved for real identity online. Nostr fixes that mistake.

3) The happiest place on the internet.
