Software engineer, outdoor enthusiast, occasional ham radio operator, aspiring hunter and homesteader, bitcoiner, neopagan druid, used to race sailboats, too many hobbies to list. Based in Northern Virginia. I don't like, only zap.

Can anyone recommend a good #nostr client for a #developer, that will let me see the full details of the notes/events, so I can learn the protocol better? I've got access to Windows, Linux, and Android.

😁Automation for the win, except I didn't understand the automation, so fail. I'll figure it out eventually.

Welcome aboard, enjoy the ride. If you haven't yet, pick and set a nickname. I don't see one, but that could just be that it hasn't gotten to a relay I'm connected to yet.

Morning coffee. Sad that my Horn Island coffee mugs have gotten so faded. But I love that the weather is so nice I'm only a little chilly sitting outside listening to the birds and waiting for the sun to get high enough to really be seen through the trees over the ridge.

It looks like Iris just harvests all the ones it sees associated with users and shoves them in a list. Here's the top of the Popular relays, as of now (it scrolls for a LONG time, I just grabbed the first page):

So, it got late, but I'm committed to doing #grownostr, so a short one tonight.

We're about 5 days into spring turkey season here, and all the ones I saw tromping through my yard, or heard gobbling on the next ridge over have disappeared and shut up. No surprise there, just glad I didn't have any #hunting plans this year.

Though, my 12 yo daughter's expressed an interest in archery deer this fall. I'm pretty sure we'll work something out, but so far we've got her dialing in her shooting, but dear old dad needs to get his scouting and blind placement game on point before it gets here.

And I looked at me as well, same as Lettie.

So I imagine if you could find a way to delete the metadata record, id ce30152992e3d3dc9cb8657fc5d1d3c135eef3a0a1f5a4f1a25d324ad0ac8bbc you'll be "fixed" in the apps where it's not working right now. Maybe it'll eventually fall off? Maybe the apps like #[10] will need to get smarter to ignore the kind=0 metadata and look for the kind=3 contact? I don't know.

OK, in the "Peter does too much research into something" department, I just looked at the raw data on you, and see two records. One Kind 0 (metadata) and one Kind 3 (contact). I did the same for #[9] , and she's only got the Kind 3. I bet that's it, though I have no clue why it's there, or what you could do to get rid of it.

Still the same, yes from Amethyst, not from Iris. I'm clueless as to why, maybe just a matter of Relays?

Gods I'm bad at replying to the right message in a thread. Mine's user795221582084194@fountain.fm

I'm no expert, but it's works for me, but then, so did my Fountain user name when I was using it.

nice flow. need to put that to some tight beats.

I think it may be related to the getalby address for lightning . I'm seeing some people having issues with that, for whatever reason.

No, I still don't see it showing as zappable from here (Iris) but I do on my phone (Amethyst) which is where I zapped you from. Which is fine, because I don't use TOR at work (here) so I can't use my desktop to zap, only Strike or WoS.
