Two months after adopting them, they are adapting unexpectedly well to their new life. It seems as if they always wished for someone whom they can call their human. They are both trying so hard to learn how a good doguito behaves in every given situation.. Especially Rex, looking up in our eyes asking for feedback basically after every bark and step he takes. He used to always keep a safe distance when we visited them in the street, he was so scared, even after years of feeding them. His progress is truly unbelievable, and I'm someone who's been around dogs a lot.
Maybe not that much for Ms Fendi 🙂 you know how they say, you don't teach an old dog new tricks, though for her age ( she might well be around 10yo ), she's doing great. Two angels.
They both still need some cures, especially Ms Fendi. She's still affected by some fungus in her right ear. Both her ears, nose and paws were affected when we got them two months ago. We were able to get rid of most of that at home but unfortunately the right year infection is too deep. A vet will have to take care of that, probably they'll have to put her to sleep, which we tried avoiding at all costs. It's a big risk for her age but it seems we'll have to take it.
