They looked momentarily flustered and mumbled, "Oh, we're sorry," though there was truly nothing to apologize for. In the afternoon, a walk. The mountains seem especially close today. My mother's flowers are particularly beautiful again this year.

The current state of social media has degraded intellectual discourse. These include fake opinion factoring, shadowbans, cancel culture, and so on. I had lost all interest in the internet and social media because of this - it had truly devolved in some places into an insult to human intelligence. Nostr is a ray of hope.

We had a home birth at our house in the jungle. Grateful for the team we had.
Was quite nervous going into it since I’ve never witnessed childbirth in person and grew up thinking we’d have our children in a hospital. Happy it worked out the way it did.
I’m a new man, changed forever. And stoked for the journey.
