Freedom tech like Gnu/Linux, *BSD, Bitcoin, Nostr, Torrents, Tor, Open Source Software, The Internet, Wikileaks are essential.
Also Telegram is completely compromised. You can use Session app instead.
Unfortunately, many people only become aware of this when it affects them personally.
Sorry to hear about this and it's definitely such an inconvenience to say the least. You should definitely do more of them as these are effective at educating people on the fact that censorship is not a "rare thing" like vaccine injuries, but it's definitely more common than people realize. 1. Spotify banned me right after I uploaded a podcast episode about Surveillance Capitalism
2. Qiita the one of the most famous knowledge sharing platform in Japan banned me right after I uploaded the very first note
3. My main bank cancelled my account and stolen all of my money just because I was not using it for a couple of months
4. My main Crypto Exchange suspended my account without no reasons
After going through all this, I ditched all the centralized services, including Google and stuff and its finally my third year✊

This looks kyc free but looks like only US and Canada area codes.
Wifi/VoIP numbers are all flagged with these "security" services. I've tried it many ways, they refuse to send SMSs to these numbers because they aren't "verified" with a cellular service. They really want to know where you are.

Deplatforming, debanking and censorship have been normalized in the last 5 years and it's prudent to expect that the censors who control these payment gateways and platforms will continue to do this for violating their t's and c's which means basically anything from enforcing sanctions to "meh we don't like what you're saying." SMS has been around since 1992 but seems like a ton of banks still rely on it for security reasons despite the existence of better alternatives. This my friends, is why we #Bitcoin

Stripe - I think it’s not personal. Their kyc policy which I’m not compliant with says they don’t work with Israeli businesses.

I think that the SMS thing is also about pinpointing your location. I have the same issue with some bank accounts held in Vientam. We have managed to sovle it now with banking apps, but it was a problem for a while. Also, with credit cards, we changed our setting in the app to approve payments via the app, not via SMS. Some offer it, some don't. Also, some offer email codes.

I just don't know how you can get recurring subscription using bitcoin. That's one thing that's much more convenient for fiat business payments. But for actual content delivery and group comms, all can be done through #nostr, amethyst e.g. has group chats

Sorry to read that Efrat, i have been debanked myself and rejected by 4 other Belgian banks without any explanation whatsoever….talking about minimum human rights, straight out repressive by the banks themself which have been given the free hand to act as they seem fit. (before covid this was just unthinkably)
I now only have a revolut account and wonder how long it will take before the same will happen. living on a bitcoin standard is not that straightforward at the moment (to my opinion) and until it becomes widely accepted the need for a bank account remains I guess. I've been banned from many platforms and apps too. Using a VPN really accelerates the banning as apps flag you as a spammer.
Travelling around the world also flags you as a spammer. The apps are all garbage and developers have done a shit job.
Nostr & Bitcoin changes that. I don't bother with other apps anymore. We still got a long way to go as exchanges are the new banks and they are playing the same game as banks but eventually we will pay directly using Bitcoin bypassing the exchanges. The future will be amazing.
