I was talking about at a normal security focused company sometimes you run a red team blue team exercise. The point of which is to test for flaws, then come together after and shore it up with solutions.

Playing red team, blue team means you eventually help the blue team figure out how to win. If you're just spamming for fun and not doing this, you're a BLACk hat. Don't kid yourself.
