I've set up Amber for the signer, Amethyst as the client, obtaining an LN URL now seems like a challenge more than it used to be.

Get Alby is invite only and WoS now wants an email, ten LN transactions and 100,000 on chain sats....

Non-custodial is obviously the way just unsure on the LN URL situation and the fees to open a channel is OK for me but a barrier for new users as you say.

Luckily we had an old WoS account on another phone set up a while ago so he's got that.

Before I get into this, I want to be clear about my take on AI. I only use AI for one thing and one thing only…research. I have not and will not use AI as a tool to "assist" with my writing. I'm a professional writer and would never lean on a crutch to do my job. And as far as my creative endeavors, AI will never find its way into the mix.
